Description
The PPS210A2 is an absolute pressure sensor with digital output for low cost applications.A miniature 2.0 x 2.5 x 1.0mm HCLGA package ideally suits it for portable electronics and space constrained applications. Low current consumptions of 250nA during Shutdown (Sleep) mode target battery and other low-power applications.
A wide operating temperature range from -40°C to+85°C fits demanding environmental requirements.
PPS210A2 employs a MEMS pressure sensor with a conditioning IC to provide accurate pressure
measurement from 260 to 1460 hPa. Developed for correction of resistive bridge sensors, it can also provide a corrected temperature output measured with an internal sensor.
The measured and corrected bridge values are provided at the digital output pins, which can be configured as I2C* (≤ 3.4MHz).
Digital compensation of signal offset, sensitivity, temperature, and non-linearity is accomplished via an 18-bit internal digital signal processor (DSP) running a correction algorithm.
Calibration coefficients are stored on-chip in a highly reliable, nonvolatile, multiple-time programmable (MTP) memory.
